Once upon a big blue dot…

Where saltwater rock meets cosmic country, you’ll find Shiretown. With their maple-smoked harmonies and celestial guitarwork, bandmates Jess Favaro, Greg Favaro and Betsy MacDonald are casting songs and feeding their wanderlust one music festival at a time.

Shiretown has performed at Stan Rogers Folk Festival, Blacktop Ball, Far Out Festival, Seaside Lobster Fest, and a slew of East Coast music venues. They have shared the stage with Sam Polley, Dave Gunning, The Stanfields, Hearts of Kin, Shane Douthwright and many more beloved East Coast acts.

Their recent EP release ghosts in this house, produced by Jon Landry (The Stanfields), has enjoyed three top ten charting tunes, “Pay Dirt”, “Go On and Run,” and “Zephyr Winds”, on CIOE’s East Coast Top 30, and generous radio play from here to Dawson City (CFYT), including Q104 and CBC Radio One.

Shiretown is currently recording another project, as an echo to their EP, with a few musical special ghosts.
